This Adventure game is my faveorite of the lot! Great presentation, but the same as you, the design was too frustrating! Genuinly scary moments!

The giant shark is an obvious reference to jaws... also the obvious reference to the posiden adventure is here. The base is called posiden and its set at christmas...

@MrTARDISreviews Oh my dear friend, that was only the glimpse of it :)

Now I can't get the image of Steven Moffat hunting for sharks on a small boat with a giant harpoon on Christmas Eve out of my head. Also, he's shirtless.

The vista's may be impressive for a game of that calibre, but if you've played Bioshock, you've probably seen better :/
I suppose it's Ok though, but it really isn't my type of thing...Namely as I also have a problem with sharks and Christmas :L

@ash356 Oh of course, in terms of whats been seen in high budget next-gen mainstream games these visuals are really lacking. But in terms of a free PC cartoony game for young DW fans then the attention to detail is real good (in my opinion)

Oswald (The main guy of the base) may not be as shallow as you picture him here. Though his delivery is weak.
He is in charge of a station now. He is responsible for everyone and he knows it. But when some guy comes and starts talking like he's in charge, it can be a bit obvious that he might loose a few logic strings. He wants everyone to be safe, but in the same time, he does not see that some weird newcomer is doing good and might find a solution... Or something. Gah. Dunno. Just my thoughts.

@eyedam I could have explained it better but i didn't want to focus on story for too long. I can see why he would be shallow to begin with, but by games end when you're pretty much clearing the base of Vashta Nerada, curing the crew-members and fixing the computer (to name just a few) he still won't listen to you. It comes across as a contrivance to move the story forward because Oswald has abandoned any form of common sense and just becomes 1 dimensional. But i see where you're coming from mate
