@CT5Holy well im getting an imac next week and the graphic card is an AMD Radeon HD 6770M with the processor I mention before i5 2.7ghz quad core processor..how do you think it will handle dolphin?
-
@jorgevital89 The i5 2450m is 2.5ghz, so yes, an intel i5 at 2.7ghz would work, except you have to be sure your graphics card will also work.
An nVidia GeForce 330M is being used in this video, but I'm curious how the Intel HD 3000 would work with it (since it's built into the intel chips most of the time nowadays...)

will this work on a inter core i5 2.7ghz
-
3 things:
1. Get a screen capture software
2. play with a real controller
3. OMG IM GONNA BUY THAT CPU

which version of the samsung r580 is this?
-
its sad coz zelda twilight princess runs with a 75% of the total speed... (using a samsung r580)
if any1 knows how to fix that problem, plz post it here ;D
-
@JaredHedgehog i ended up getting a different one.
specs are the following:
AMD N930 2.0 Ghz Quad Core
ATi 5650 1gb graphics card
6gb of ram
i think that will be fine ass well?
-
That will definitely run SMG1 and 2 at full speed. TP to, but you just have to worry about when you get to hyrule field though. Game speed comes to a screaming 10-20 fps there.
Also what resolution is it?

@blacer323 Resolution doesn't really have any impact on the performance. I run it at 1366x768 in 16:9, but it has identical speeds at 640x480 with widescreen disabled

I'm considering buying this computer although with 4 gb ram.
Have you tried zelda twilight princess?
how good does other wii and gc games work on this computer?
Do you feel that it's lagging while playing mario galaxy 2 in any places?
blacer323 1 year ago
@blacer323 Almost all GameCube games I've tested work flawlessly and Zelda TP is definitely one of them (works perfect). As for the Wii games it really depends on the game, but most of them have playable speeds (for example the new 007 Goldeneye runs at 80-100% of speed). Frameskip 1 is a very useful option when a game lags.
Mario Galaxy 2 most the time runs amazing with frameskip 1, but it freezes after obtaining a Grand Star but still you can download a cleared save and have a whole lotta fun
