1.Suruli hills is the part of the Pothigai Malai Suruli falls (Tamil: சுருளி அருவி), also known as Chinna Suruli, Cloud Land Falls or Meghamalai Falls, is located 56 km from Theni and 10 km from Cumbum in the Theni District in Tamil Nadu, India
The Suruli River supplying the falls originates from the Meghamalai mountain range 2. Bodinayakanur (போடி)
This is called as cardamom city. hospitality of the local populace and their pastoral way of life make it nice town.This is called as cardamom city. It is situated in the foot hill of WESTERN GHATS, SORROUNDED BY LUSHY GREEN MOUNTAINS WITH PLEASENT ENVIRONMENT.

Bodinayakkanur ~ Located on the foot hills of the West Ghats, this town is popular for cardamom mango and coffee market. This small town is situated in the eastern outskirts of the high ranges in the Madura district(now Theni dt.), assumed subsequently the status of "Cardamom city" on account of large quantity of cardamom trade in that centre.
Resounding cascades, silver-lined clouds resting a top billiard green hill tops, sheer rock faces and temples of antiquity are the stuff that distinguish this place from others. These unique places warm the soul and provide the much-needed balm to the mind.Today several languages such as Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and other Indian languages are being spoken in the city

.Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for the majority of the population. The weather is nice and moderate throughout the year. Bodinayakanur is also famous for its sweet and tasty water.

Bodinayakanur had a population of 73,430 Bodinayakanur is the 2nd biggest and most populated city in Theni district. Bodinayakanur is Taluk Head Quarter. It is due to the weather and natural beauties, the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru called this place as "SOUTH KASHMIR". Munnar, a scenic hill station is located 70 km from this place. This town is located amidst hills and has a pleasant weather with good rainfall throughout the year.
Still, the city is having the Palace of zamindars and is giving a royal look to the city.
The city has a very old Water purification and pumping system, which was built around 1900 and is still fully functional. The town gets water from the hills nearby. It has a railway station, which was built by the British, when they ruled India,for the purpose of carrying the cardamom that was produced here. The town also has some satellite villages. Hill road starts from 5th kilometre from the town towards munnar and it attracts many touristers.

The famous school here is a century old Z.K.M Higher Secondary school and this school is having the highest student strength in the district. Another famous school is Nadar Higher Secondary school thirumalapuram .There are one girls higher secondary schools by name Pankajam Girls Higher Secondary School. Two municipal high schools are also there.There is a famous matriculation school named Scism Matriculation Higher Secondary School. There is a co-educational arts college offering several courses run by the Cardamom Planters Association, is about 30 years old. Now one polytechnic college has been started near Bodinayakanur.
