I never thought Bateman killed Paul Allen. I thought he mutilated and probably killed a few hookers, but PA seemed too high profile... my idea was that Dafoe was hired by bateman as part of some strange 'real-life roleplaying' that he got off on in some perverse way. Or maybe to make his life a little more interesting.

Psycho's have less anxiety than a normal human but when your being interogated for killing somone and you actually did it it's such a stressful situtation that not even the most prestigious psycho can hide there feeling's with a complete blank face.

William had to act the scene 3 times, one acting like he doesnt think Patrick did it, one acting like he's not sure, and one like he's suspicious of Patrick, so this would seems extra confusing and crazy
