Big and beautiful, the American way... I fly small and light.

@praveen24121 THAT is good to hear. I love those large scale models, because they are not as jumpy and jerky in their motions. Also of course the effort and time invested will not be totally lost. You have my full (moral) support!

OH MY GOD..! Not only did you put cheap weed wacker engines on it....You didn't even synch the ignition systems..!! You guys should be flying paper airplanes.
-
Left prop hit the dirt @ 4:38. Shame was a nice plane. Good luck on the next one.
-
somebody start playing taps because the whole crew in that B-25 were just killed.

FF to 4:55

Why didn't the pilot let it crash land on those 2 landing attempts? It seems like it would have survived it for the most part.
-
Thats not quarter scale

Such a shame. The crash scenario is quite apparent. Let's say a twin engine plane loses its left engine, the right engine continues to run propelling the plane to the left. It's controllable at higher airspeeds, but once you get too slow, the plane will not have enough control movement to compensate. If you watch the video closely you can see once he reaches the airspeed of no return, the right engine, as full-scale pilots say, takes you to the scene of the crash.

If you use duck tape to fix it nobody will notice.
The pilot actually gave the plane to me and i'm rebuilding it. It's almost done and will fly again.

O.o what was the problem for the engine????
nandodemon 1 year ago
@nandodemon The engine was OK. A prop threw a blade, thus the hi RPM's.
