WOW. Out of 8300 songs in my iTunes, this is actually in my top 25. I've wanted to see Imani in a live setting for decades, but it just hasn't happened yet. I'm so ashamed.

I remember when Chupacabra shot down to $.01 on Amazon. Must have sucked for Imani, but I ordered ten and paid one shipping fee, then passed them out to my friends like bibles.

Not only did I think at the time that this was the best thing in music for many years but also the best thing that ever appeared on this crap show. Remember the weird look she gave Joolz at the end of one of the songs. This bird was super cool. Not seen this since the first broadcast. Cheers.

I actually discovered Imani through Mike Patton, via her work with him in Peeping Tom, and a video of them co-hosting Rage.

First video I found was the official video for "I'm A Tree"... listened to the song, laughed out loud (in a good way) at the video and fell in love instantly.

She's an absolutely joy to listen to.

@MISSterDJ82 look up The Black & Wwhite Album, she made a couple of years ago on the Ipecac records. she toured with Peeping Tom (Mike Patton of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, etc.) that's at least what's she's been doing lately.

What ever happened to her? I have this album in my collection & this whole album was great......never had to skip one track & that is very rare with the music that is being put out these days.
