Really? Jeremy Davies (who plays Daniel) actually confirmed it was him when the season started. It was on EW's Totally Lost. He also said that there was more to that video... I don't think anyone got to see it though (and probably noone will...) Anyway, I loved The Variable as an episode, it just bothers me that they left so many unanswered questions. I feel like they should have used the comic con video to tie in with the finale an then do "The Variable" in one of the first episodes of season 6

okay i guess someone on a theory sight lied about them not using it.
The producers now said that the voice is NOT faraday.

But I don't think that's an excuse... if everyone saw it, the more reason to use it! they should have tied the season 5 finale with that video. That way they would prove that they really have the season and the show planned out. The fact that they killed Dan and everyone knows about the video, just proves to everyone that they really don't know what they're doing and they're making it up as they go along. That's my humble opinion anyway!

I hate to say this, but this episode was a little fast for me.... There seemed to be a whole lot of information rushed through this hour....
