In recognition of the role played by the Alliance in enhancing security in the Euro-Atlantic area for the past 50 years, 1999 will be marked by a series of activities and events in NATO Member countries and in Partner countries. These will highlight the transformation of the Alliance since the end of the Cold War, NATO's current role and responsibilities in peacekeeping and other fields and future challenges facing NATO and its Partners in extending security throughout the Euro-Atlantic area.

Zbigniew Brzezinski:

In brief, I think, what we have to recognize is that the expansion of NATO and, paralleling it, the expansion of EU, reflects a very big transformation in the nature of the European order which has evolved as the consequence of the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union. In that setting, NATO has changed and it had to change from primarily a military and a political alliance into primarily a political and also military alliance.

  • This is shitty documentary. Why they didn't mention that Yugoslavia was bombed by radioactive bombs from which cancer increased for 250%.

  • @3SRBIJACCCC

Then why do you keep watching it?

Go and make your own documentary which would include all the information you find relevant.

And I believe we've already been through this so let's not discuss it again.

I've made enough effort to make it available and I won't let anyone piss all over it.

Don't like it, don't watch it - as simple as that.

  • @Lillymill I like to watch documentaries about my country, its normal. And i feel proud when we are always bad guys, cause when USA tells that someone is bad guy, that means that that bad guy is actually a good guy.

  • @3SRBIJACCCC

If that's the case, you'll have to find some more appropriate documentary because this one's British and a fairly objective one, too.

  • @Lillymill I've seen worse documentaries, but this one didn't mention NATO's war-crimes. I wonder why? And they mentioned few NATO's war-crimes as colateral errors. lol

  • @3SRBIJACCCC

    "War crimes... collaterals... lol"?!

    What's wrong with you?

  • @Lillymill When NATO kills civilian or destroy hospital or stuff, they say its collateral damage. So sarcastic...

  • Thank you for posting this up

  • @cowbot2

It's a sarcastic wordplay - "moral combat" instead of "mortal combat".

The documentary actually criticizes such policy.

  • Bullshit video title. Nothing "moral" about aggression. People who attack other countries should be shot. No exceptions.
