I didn't know about using the cornmeal to prevent sticking before cooking. Excess flour gums up the cooking water and its nice to know there is an alternative. I also use half unbleached flour and half semolina flour, it makes the dough much easier to handle in the rolling and cutting process. Kudos, great video.

Pulled out my grandma's (very) old Imperia pasta machine today and was DELIGHTED to find this video on how to use it!! (my memory isn't good enough to reach back 30+ years to when I was a kid helping her...and I actually only remember helping hang the pasta over the chair backs in the dining room. haha)

Hello, sorry if this is a dumb question. Can you whisk the egg in a bowl and just pour it in in the well of flour, or, put the flour in the bowl with the egg then whisk it? Will it work? I haven't tried it because I don't want to waist my ingredients.

@silentassassintados Not a dumb question at all... Yes you can mix the eggs, olive oil, and salt in a bowl then add in the flour. You will need to knead in on a board though...
