  • THIS SUCKS! lolz

  • I bring up Bonds only because he's another player from the same era who used the same drugs (and didn't get to play in great hitters' parks like A-Rod) and was clearly better; but I still would put A-Rod behind Mays and Aaron (even though he plays in a tougher era, they stood out more), and about on par with Schmidt and Henderson. Pujols very well could surpass him, too. Then it depends on where you rank the true old-timers - Ruth, Cobb, Wagner, Hornsby, etc, but they stood out more too.

  • @Xtdg89x Dude, are you really arguing that Bonds had the "advantage" of being in a bad lineup? It's true that you can draw more walks with nobody around you (if you're patient and smart enough not to start reaching), but having lineup protection is otherwise a great thing for hitters. It's hard to make contact when you're not seeing pitches, but Bonds won batting titles and set slugging and HR records under those circumstances. Also, his retirement came in his mid 40s.

  • @tybugg1 barry bonds will never make hall of fame. arod has a much better shot.

  • @googgull hard to put up a .600 obp when you have good bats behind you, unlike bonds. why not walk bonds when the rest of the team sucks? walk arod and you deal with cano or whoever else is batting behind him for the day. atleast arod made it through after the steriods while bonds sucked so damn bad he was forced to retire

  • @nazelite and you. arod is the best ever? Lay off the crack buddy, he isn't even top 50

  • @NYYbronx28 coming from a yankee fan, arod hasnt done shit for the yankees. mr choke come time of clutch. other than his alcs performance against the angels in 2009 (even tho matsui still topped him that series) every other playoff series arod has been krod. all he does is strikeout when we need him.

  • OMG AT 1:25 DEREK JETER IS BEING GAY WITH HIS SOON TO BE TEAM MATE LOL

  • @nazelite Who cares dude. Could have started anybody in the league and the Sox would have still finished the bums.

  • ok a-rod is good but he isnt better than babe babe is the greatest that ever lived and will remain so i mean im a Yankees fan and a big fan of arods ut he isnt that good mabey better than sosa or bonds or berra but not babe
