Okay okay, I miss 5Ds like it's no ones bussiness. And I'm not supportive of zeXal yet, but Cathy is ADORABLE. And she's everything I always am in rp.
So the song's name is 'neko no kimochi,' roughly translated to 'feelings of a cat.' The innocent and shy sound the sound gives in it's simplicity, plus the words and meaning itself fits this character in every way. I also felt that with such simple sounds and meaning, it was appropriate for simple editing as well.
Cathy or Cat-chan is a very shy girl, always watching and admiring from a distance, never quite being able to work up the courage to tell Yuma how she feels. She uses a deck based on cats and even pins up her hair to look like cat ears, learning duel monsters because it's something Yuma is passionate about and she wishes to get closer to him by playing on his field, so to say.
audio: neko no kimochi - vision of escaflowne
video/anime: YuGiOh! ZeXal episode 9
YuGiOh! ZeXal is directed by Satoshi Kuwahara and written by Kazuki Takahashi with studio Studio Gallop and liscenced by 4Kids Entertainment (currently).
I do not own Vision of Escaflowne or YuGiOh ZeXal in any way shape or form. I will not and do not intend to profit from this video in any way.
By the gods, this song fits cat-chan so well.
Why can't they make her the lead instead? I mean, Kotori is a cute childhood friend with a magic miniskirt, but Cathy is a gothic lolita cat girl with ninja skills. AND SHE CAN DUEL.

Can we just have Kathy be the lead female? I mean...at least she duels while Kotori doesn't.
