Obviously they lied to you. He is a politician he is going to lie. Politicians should not have the right to complain about their offices not having upgraded. The office I saw look just fine to me.

I never mentioned Reagan. I believe the Dems had the senate then, too. You're choosing sides and adding fuel to the fire because, hey, the Liberals and Progressives are just plain evil and the Conservatives can do no wrong, right? And we still OWE that money. I can buy a car or house on credit, but when it's time to pay the bills I'm up the creek. If you're not ok with Obama's debt, are you ok with Reagan's? Neither are ok...

Not trying to troll, but how do you feel that our national debt tripled between 1981 and 1988?

@Napalmdog Such a straw-man argument. Since the debt tripled under a republican pres. (Reagan), you must be ok with Obama's debt. Not all spending is created equal...it matters how you spend & the long-term effects. Its important to note that Reagan inherited a higher unemployment rate, yet in just 16 months, the recession ended & an economic boom followed. It's hard to argue with results. Watch "National Debt Road Trip" to get a good historical comparison.
