Mia is falling foul of everyone. School is going badly, and her mother is constantly on her back. Mia is only at peace when she is running -- something she does very well. On the main shopping street of Copenhagen, Mia encounters Zack. Zack belongs to a group of youngsters, who make a living from pick pocketing and are trying to raise money for a place of their own -- a place without adults. Mia joins them and falls in love with charming Zack. However, constant intrigue puts a strain on the freedom and joy of the group. Thus, Mia must decide if she wants to keep running from her problems or face them head on. "Bora Bora" is a film about having the courage to follow one's dreams -- a film driven by love, dancing, action and lots of great music!
