Bitching about aliens in pop culture

When the aliens arrive, they will be so awesome in so many ways, that everything we ever thought was cool will then make us ashamed.

Just kidding. The chances of inter-stellar aliens finding us within our lifetime are almost nothing. They probably dropped off some bacteria a couple billion years ago, came back during the dinosaurs, said "this is going nowhere" and pressed the reset button. Maybe they're watching us all the time waiting for us to get past our nastier instincts so we can be assimilated into the galactic community. More likely, intelligent species evolve all the time but die off before they develop the god like qualities that are necessary for faster than light travel. Maybe we are the first and last intelligent beings in the whole universe. In my opinion it wont be us that travel the stars, but our hive mind android decedents.....but I digress. What I do know is that if we ever meet an intelligence that evolved on another world, they will be more bizarre and fantastic than any two-bit hollywood screenwriter could possibly imagine. And they certainly wont need any help from us.

One last thing.... If you think aliens would have two arms, two legs, two eyes...or look like anything on this planet......

I would be very suprised if there was no other life bearing planet in this massive universe we live in. I would also be suprised if we were the only intelligent lifeforms. Sadly though, the distances, time frames, and physics involved makes it very, very unlikely that we meet them. I am facinated by the concept of life on other planets, and by science fiction, but there is no evidence that aliens have come here yet.

Concise, logical and funny. Great video, and an opinion I can only agree with. Its sad however that we are locked into our solar system to physically explore (or sadly locked into this planet as it seems). Of course I know that the universe has not came to be for our convenience, and I do not let wishful thinking guide my conclusions about reality...yet it would be empowering to know that there can be a real possibility for actual and quick interstellar travel.

Wrong, aliens exist. They are already here, have been on Earth before us, they're on the ocean floor and below it, below the ice caps, backside of the moon, and lots of underground bases. God created all life in the universe a nearly infinite amount of time ago, life evolved, lots of planets hosted life, etc. Us though? We were created by The Greys through genetic mutation. They are already here and our government has known about them since the 40's. That is the truth, accept it or don't

In reality there are probably other intelligent civilizations out there somewhere......but they are so uncommon, and the galaxy is so very fucking vast, and the laws of space and time are so very fucking unbreakable, that the likelyhood of your third-hand, conspiracy bull is completely laughable. I'll stick with the Drake Equation and SETI thanks.

Go look up Disclosure Project on youtube. Find the video that's 1hr 55mins long. Watch that and disregard the singing nutcase in the beginning, but the rest is absolutely real and cannot be debunked or disproved, these are top level credible witness accounts
