@xiaolintraditional90 the difference is that CG rescue swimmers are actual rescue swimmers and navy rescue swimmers hardly ever do any kind of sar. they do fleet support and anti sub warfare and sit in the back so pilots can get their quals......trust me go CG if you want to be a real rescue swimmer.

@scheidt900 This video looks like the shoes sar school, which really isn't a school, it's a local course or pqs qual that the command puts on to satisfy their ship's number of people to man the ready deck boat for man overboard stuff. It's not Pensacola Aviation RSS, that's a tough school.

i went through navy rss and it was a blast however after that i went to a-school for awr a got droped for grades and i found out that in the navy sar is just a qual thats not your job im going to try to switch to the cg after my inlistment is done and become a rescue swimmer so that will be my job not just a qual

@xiaolintraditional90 navy rescue swimmers, like my brother, end up doing nothing and having to hunt for submarines instead, coast guard rescue swimmers, which i plan on doing, get to do a lot more depending on where they are, like alaska has the most rescues probably, and florida has the easiest rescues

lame you are a surface swimmer, become a real sar swimmer and jump from a SH60F, or SH60H, not take a ribb boat out and just get ur hands wet
