It's December and you know what that means. It's Testicle Month on The Ultrasound Podcast! We're going to spend the Holiday season teaching you about how to ultrasound the acute scrotum. Whether you've been naughty or nice, we don't care. We think everyone should be handy with testicle ultrasound, mainly because we know we may be traveling in your neck of the woods when our very own testicles start aching. So sit down, grab some eggnog, put on your mock turtleneck, and enjoy.....
Here's Round One of our Testicular Ultrasound Podcast.
Dear Ryantravisaol
i think the lump on your testicle is a condition called Vericocele, if you are not sure with it, try to do self examination whether there is dark vein on your testicle, sometimes when the lump is occur . The reason why im saying this is because usually the lump will only occur when its warm, especially during hot weather . Actually you don't have to worry too much as this problem can be cure by surgery if you were see a doctor.

I have a lump that feels 'attached' to one of my testicles. My doctor is sending me for a sonogram which is scheduled for 1/9/2012, today is 1/3/2012. Do you have any advice as to what I should make sure the doctors do to properly diagnose this? I'm afraid of losing the testicle if I don't have to and other misdiagnosis. Also, if it turns out to be cancer, do I have to lose the testicle or can they treat me with other means, means also barring radiation? Thanks
