Megaman Zero 4 Gameplay [Part 1: Opening Stage]

This is a gameplay series of Megaman Zero 4. I'll be doing it stage by stage.

Ah, the opening stage! When I first played Megaman Zero 3, I always managed to get my ass kicked by Omega, so much that I almost gave up right there and then. I wasn't used to the infamous Megaman series difficulty.

[BOSS] SubDesert Core

This boss is easy compared to some first bosses in the Zero Series, as you'll see I went at it with the usual reckless abandon. It uses a red small laser, and a big blue one. The large blue laser can be deactivated by (as you'll see) tearing out the cables from under the core, although it is a tad risky. After these cables are removed, we have access to a rather useful semi-safespot, underneath the boss' nose (literally). Here you can dodge the red laser, although you should try and time your strikes to hit the Beamwalkers summoned before they hit you. Alternatively, you can use the Zero Knuckle to steal a Lamplort-X's shield earlier on in the stage. An easy boss, strategy or no.
