Most if not all who supposedly "fight for equality" these days, only really means the their right to be more "equal" than others if it favors them. Yes, said gay only clubs are highly hypocritical when gay originations preaching abaut discrimination and their lack of equality at every opportunity. But I think the point of these clubs is mainly to be a social league for men to socialize and hook up. Not sure why straights would want in on that action in the first place :/
It's safe to say, if anyone is willing to make a public spectacle of themselves by filing a lawsuit claiming emotional distress over not to be considered gay enough to play ball(s) in a a gay softball league club, that they have proven with these actions they are indeed gay enough.
@EternallyRecurring oh im totally being fair and equal you disriminate aginst me for what i so in the privacy in my own home and ill discriminate against what you do in the privacy of your own home..
@LETMEINGUYS You can't point to bad behavior to justify other bad behavior. You're mocking straight or bisexuals being discriminated against by gays. Then don't be upset when you're discriminated against for being gay and people mock you. It's the same thing, just opposite sides. You shouldn't support this league if you believe in equality, just like you shouldn't support a whites only league or straights only league.
@knutgordon That's not the idea we should be going for. We shouldn't accept this, so straight people can keep gays out. We shouldn't segregate sports based on sexual attraction. Gender and age is understandable, but homosexuals vs heterosexuals? Should there be a league for guys who like blonds and guys who like brunettes? It's reverse discrimination. I respect there right to do this, but anyone who believes in equality wouldn't support them.
Sounds to me like a number of the players are butt hurt and want the gayness scale policy to be less anal. Gay guys playing with soft balls and arguing over whether some of them are gay enough to play ball? Why I am not surprised? Pfft, the whole concept is just GAY. If the gays want to keep up said gay clubs then that just fine as long as the same rules are applied, and there is no massive outcry from the gay community and ACLU, if a bunch of straight guys want to set no-gay ones up.
Someone should make a straight league, see how that turns out. Anyhow: Anyone who dare to enter enter said gay teams , or anyone who get upset for not being able to join them for that matter, is flamboyant gay enough.
Ok i will make a straight league which allows only 2 gay players per team...Does that make me a bigot?
