@JrCashLovecats thats the thing with underground bands like this. They focus much more on music then actual vocal ability. They mask vocals with reverb and effects to make it less distinguishable mostly because they're vocalists usually aren't that good. I don't totally agree with the idea, but I understand why they do it.

@TheBenny48 I just wish their vocals were a little more distinguishable. The instrumentation is gorgeous though.

This band is just incredible. Their knowledge of melody and harmony is top notch. I hate that they rose to popularity with all the other buzz bands. Not that I don't like some of the other buzz bands (Toro y Moi, Neon Indian, even Beach Fossils) but these guys are truly skilled musicians that know what they're doing. So organic! Unlike the whole "chill wave" stuff that is mostly just MIDI computer toggling. Fuck Best Coast long live the wonderful tunes of Real Estate.
