@joetyner Why all the Garland bashing? She was just sixteen when she sang it, had probably very little artistic control over how she sang it, and still made it memorable. Leave her alone.

Please, Judy Garland made this song a classic. All of other renditions have his value, of course, and Gene Vincent made it in his style. He gave it a new sound (rock-ballad) and made it wonderfully, but, we don't must compare them. Each one in its proper style. But Judy Garland made this song a classic.

anemic. Stupid guy. Recorded in 1959 on poor quality kinescope. Gene Vincent made the the best cover ever of this judy garland gem.
