Betta coccina is not a commonly kept fish. They were shy and dull when we got them, but several weeks of fresh brine shrimp have intensified their color and their personalities.
@Panziety They will probably take dry food but ours are spoiled. Ours love live daphnia (which I raise outdoors in a cheap plastic tub). They can probably take small tubifex worms too, but they are smaller than most bettas commonly kept, so a big one would be more than they can swallow.

What other types of food do they eat besides brine shrimp? Thanks.
