Duino Paradiso Equinox I:
Laura Cristin and Dawn Redwood in an approach to the performances on the occasion of the Spring Equinox 20th March 2008 and the Full Moon at Latitude 45° N, Longitude 13° E in sight of the Castle of Duino where Rainer Maria Rilke wrote Duino Elegies, Dante and Liszt stayed.
We were performing The Music of Love: two parts of our Son@Da I&II, with music composed and/or played by Dario Della Rossa and Liszt.
A magic coincidence of Time: the Holy Week, to be precise the early afternoon of Friday when Christ was crucified and Dante was imagining our Paradise of the Divine Comedy, together with the day of the Spring Equinox, during which Pisces gives way to Aries, coinciding with the Full Moon gave us a preview of her beauty just hiding in the clouds and playing with wind and water, at the place where the Mediterranean Sea reaches its farthest point North East. Just trying to get in tune with Nature and with our feelings as human beings; feeling like a Siren/Venus emerging from the waters, participating just for a moment in the sorrows of the White Dame of the Rock beyond the old Castle, whilst the yellow forsythia bloomed -- just because perhaps we could connect our Times with our recalls, and memories of the beauty of Love...
Wow! That is a beautiful video. Great music & a beautiful presentation - pure art! Dorothea
