Battlefield Bad Company 2 in nVidia GTX 275 in Surround Mode

Battlefield Bad Company 2 running in panoramic mode on three monitors.
The resolution for this game is 5760x1200; all 3 monitors are being driven by 2 eVGA GTX 275 Superclocked in SLi mode. The machine has Intel Quad Core Extreme 3.2GHz machine with 8 GB RAM.

I have been waiting for the Surround support from nVidia forever. I am using driver version 258 (Beta).
I am using vertical FoV (Field of Vision) to be 50° and Horizontal FoV to be 135°. If I make the horizontal FoV to be higher then the side monitors are stretched and the movement gives me vertigo.

Using lot of measurements of monitor sizes, and my average distance from the monitors, and using Pythagoras theorem a lot, I found the optimum angle for me to be 135°.

This gives me the FoV setting of about 50 (for settings.ini file of BFBC2).

And no kick by Punkbuster in Multiplayer?

I have 3 monitors now too but have to wait for two more DVI-Cables to connect because one runs on DVI, the second on HDMI and the third on VGA. And the Nvidia driver dont want to let me confiurate it because the VGA connection i think.

Jear i have tryed it with Softth to run on three monitors but then after a few minutes a was kicked by PB

@funderlaker Not on the BFBC2.

If you play CoD Black Ops, it thinks you have "hacked" the game to display on three monitors since they do not have the support for multiple monitors (yes ... I know).

But in BFBC2, MoH, and many many others, no issues.

Also make sure you add an exception for PB A and B exe files in your firewall, anti virus.

@jpsnagi How many FPS Were you getting? What resolution was for each monitor?

As a human, my eyes stops to notice things beyond 30 FPS (much earlier I think).

And as a gamer I know it is important, however I choose to ignore it. I have not seen any jerky frames, or stop motion images, (except of course if the server is lagging).

And I have a screaming fast internet connection.

All my frienda are obsessed with fraps and they have a thing that is running constantly in the background that tells them the FPS. But my Windows are so much tweaked, that I do not want to run even a tiny bit small program that can mess with my experience.

That is just my humble opinion, and I am not saying anyone who seeks this information is wrong.

I have Gtx 275 and I run bc2 smoothly with very high graphics (not maximum) but it is so sweet and graphics looks good. Yea its pretty old now for the gaming but I will continue use it for the next year and a half, hope Battlefield 3 will run smoothly too with the 275.

@jpsnagi thx, but now its ok cause I run all three monitors over DVI ;-)

now I can set it to Surround-Gaming in the Nvidia options. and now I can play without kick :-D
