Xizang, ( Tibet) a province of China had been and always will be a part of China. More than 99% of the world's population recognizes that. Xizang's domestic affairs are China's alone and it does not appreciate interference in its National Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity.

China's initial response is to deny everything. As a crisis PR strategy this sucks. Nothing makes you look sillier and less credible, it also taints every following communication.

You might think that China might take a serious, soul-searching look at itself--with communication and openness as a solution,

You would be wrong.

They would rather deny it or play the blame game-!

We know China has no regard for human rights. The cash cow known as the Olympic games is a financial windfall.

One thing China`s government truly gives a damn about is money. So that's the channel we have to use to be heard.

Don't just boycott the Olympics. Boycott China altogether

It's all about legitimizing power with the PRC. They're ruthless. Always have been. That much hasn't changed despite their economic success. The core values that make one truly human simply aren't there with their leadership.

this is about a government and Chinese corporate body that sells and ships poison toys, poison food, and they poison their own people by dumping hazardous waste products into their food....while keeping them chained to their manufacturing equipment.

Everyone knows that China took tibet by force of arms for economic and Strategic military reasons.They pretend to make tibet a better place. What a lie. They do this by burning 6000 monasteries and killing thousands of Tibetans and shooting tibetans escaping/crossing borders for Freedom. Young Chinese are fed with distorted propaganda.The World is talking about Human Freedom, but brain washed Chinese talk about Land Ownership and Saving face. Result is, Chinese are spitting in their own faces.

To cathy098: Don't be paranoid, no one is trying to harm China. Even Dalai Lama is helping China. China should use this opportunity and show the world that China respect human right by simply welcoming the Dalai Lama. This will cut the human right issue into half. It's very simple!
