Je suis toujours étonné de l'agressivité que peut susciter Caballé, surtout dans le répertoire allemand qui est sa formation, son premier répertoire, et pour lequel elle a eu des récompenses partout- à Vienne pour Salomé au début des années 60. Ici on lui reproche une erreur de mesure- ce qui arrive à tout le monde (c'est un concert, pas un disque aseptisé) un manque de concentration, un mauvais état vocal(!!!) : au contraire ce lied au long phrasé est un de ceux qui convient le mieux à Caballé

she is awesome here. Bad concentration and totally without the right feeling for the lied. Her voice seems also in bad condition.

I love seeing a great artist of her caliber make a mistake. She is human. And she was trying to do the right things. :^)
