You make a good point for arguement. But for now, shall we look at the standings?
Pens 9-2
Wings 4-4
The Red Wings aren't a far more talented team, if that were the case they would have easily beaten us in the Finals this past year. And to say that we only have a few standout players is a MASSIVE understatement. Especially seeing as though only three players on the team in terms of Forwards don't have a goal, and everyone who does has at leeast 3 of them.

I think it's too early to judge teams at the start of the season. Mid-to late season is when I like to see where they all are at.
Red Wings even spread of talent, the Pens in my opinion, not yet. They are getting there thou. I just feel red wings are a bit more superior in talent to cover all bases. Pens deserved last year and despite my love of the Red Wings, I still believe Pens were the better side.

That's just the one thing i don't get. I know Geno and Sid are good but to say they make up our entire team is a vast understatement. They produce the most points but anyone who's played hockey knows that it's more about momentum and spirit then whose scoring. wihtout that, you WON"T score.

Take Tyler Kennedy getting that shit beat outta him. I think, soley because of that we came out on top that game vs the flyers. And we're actually pretty solid down the line when it comes to goals (c)

Only three forwards have yet to produce a point and no one has less than three goals so far this season. Yeah they are the best our team has to offer, but you'll get that with any team, a few standout players. Staal with the Canes is an example, Zetterbergh with the Wings, and even Hossa's stupid ass with whoever he went to. Some guys are better than others.

Go outside and get some fresh air, boy. It's just a game for goodness sake. Nobody likes losing but you carrying on is just plain embarassing no matter who you sort. Win with respect, lose with respect. Your just degrading your class and other fans.

You quick to defend your team and i respect that. But mine team is just as good as yours. And if things keep steady for them, this year they will prove to be better. The Pens have worked hard to earn the respect of our city. We won't easily letr them be criticized.

Well that's far enough, I'd do that with anyone who gets critical of the Red Wings too ;-)
I do like the Pens too myself so it bugs me if people get critical of them

But I think the perception is, there are probably many whom feel when it comes to them it's always about Sid or Geno..etc..and to be honest I think alot of sport is always based around two or three specific players.
