  • @shortstop20 100% Slicefixer swing - Slicefixer worked with him from the time he was like 12 i believe...maybe a little before then.

Wait, never mind--I found the link to a TV news report. What a damn shame, really--made all the worse because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers on the scene. He really appeared to be headed toward a serious career with big-time talent.

  • Positions are remarkably identical--but positions don't tell everything; the swing is _motion_ above all. Having the _sequence_ of photos helps--much easier to misread a single photo than a sequence. But even Hogan himself said more than once that the point of his instruction wasn't to make people look like him, and that even swings based on the same principles should rarely look like each other. Still, obviously, the fact that Matt was doing well suggests that it wasn't hurting him.

    What in the world happened?

  • truely tragic - what a superb swing, and - by all accounts - person

  • Wow, he looks just like Hogan swinging the club.

    This is a slicefixer swing?

  • He has been on tour. A couple of starts such as the Valero Texas Open. He was the 2007 Texas State Open Champion. A standout college player at Texas A&M University. Made over 100 professional starts on the Nationwide Tour, Adams Pro Golf Tour, and The Hooters Tour, as well as a couple on the big tour as I stated earlier. The sad thing is Matthew passed away this past December. He will be dearly missed as a great player, but more a great friend. R.I.P Spider

  • Good swing/technique. Now.. How's the scoring? chipping, putting, trouble shots. Golf--Ya gotta do it all.

  • That's pretty impressive... what do you shoot?
