This video gives you guys an update on my recent Healthy Hair Growth Journey. As I mentioned countless times before, I won't be doing length checks. Instead, I'll be doing split checks. Why? Because decreasing the amount of split ends you have helps you to retain hair growth. So tune in as I show you guys how to check for split ends. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @eSalonSpace & @ImTangledinLove.

  • I really suck at finding split ends...I think that my ends are a lil damaged but I cut my ends every 8 weeks but I realise that there is no growth my hair is at the same lenght since 7 months into my hair journey I think I am gonna trim my ends every 6 months because I wanna see growth. What do you think?

  • @tamaniyag I usually won't recommend you getting your ends trimmed once every 6months. It's much easier to spot split ends when your hair is clean and straight. Keep trying to spot them and let me know how things go.

  • I love your videos. I understand that you are a professional but sometimes you can come off a little condescending. There are alot of ladies on here that are proud of being APL, BSL, etc.

  • @bigren626 I kinda have to agree with her. Your videos are very informative and I look forward to seeing them on my subscriptions page. I understand there are a lot of things that other you tubers do that you don't or don't see the point in doing and that's fine but you do come of a bit condescending at times. You don't have to put down what others to get your point across. Like I said I really enjoy your videos but the tone can be a bit standoffish at times.

  • @candynicole27 again, I dont recall putting anyone down. I only said that I won't be using "hair growth terms" to describe my hair growth. I said lol, fll because I do find the terms a bit confusing. In my opinion, whether it reaches my arm pit, bra strap or the floor, Hair growth is hair growth.

  • @bigren626 I dont recall saying anything that offended any one that was trying to grow their hair. All I said was that I wasn't going to use any of the terms that you guys use to describe your hair growth.

  • Here is just a little fyi/tip: Eating healthy will only make the new hair sprouting from the head healthy and will have no effect on the ends. Eat consistently healthy and you'll have all your hair healthy. :)

  • Can you explain I started going back to my stylist who use mizani relaxerr from the tube not the box mix which i used for 2 years. She told me my cutical is coarse not smooth, how can I fix this? I use good shampoo and condtiones (Mizani & Kera). Also can you recommend a leave in? thanks

  • i just cute my ends today , in my hair feels so much better , i had to take note of it do to my next trim/spit end cuting will be in june , i keep a book of my hair journey , i have to get back on taking photos of my hair for 2012 that will be very soon :D great video , your hair is growning so much , keep up the great week , :D

  • very informative thank you!!

  • @esalonspace, I did a major trim!

I lost a lot of length! I was almost to shoulder lenght and now I'm at neck lenght.

I wanted to do a lil trim but my length was not even I looked ridiculous I had to cut it. I am pretty pissed at myself now! It's gonna take me like 6 months to grow it all back.
