thanks for having this video on how to change the hard drive on the inspiron 6000. I was having a hard time and then realize i needed to remove the connector to install new hard drive. now I am up and running on this laptop.

Does anyone know if a 'Western Digital Scorpio 160GB WD1600BEVE 5400rpm 8MB Buffer 2.5" IDE / PATA Notebook Hard Drive' works with an inspiron 6000? I'm not too savvy with this type of thing and i wanted to ask before I bought it online. I'm replacing the Hitachi 60 GB drive that the laptop came with 5+ years ago.
