I figured out how to remove antivirus pro 2009 it works!

Restart in Safe mode with networking by pressing F8 while the PC powers up. go to cnet.com and dowload malware bytes trial version. change the name from malware bytes to random numbers.

You don't have to do all the Win95 stuff, renaming seems to be enough to launch malware bytes. But if you want, you can right click, select run as windows 95, in 256 colors, and 480x640, and disable visual themes. OK. this will let you past the virus's block on opening malware bytes. run virus check and your computer will be functional again.

however, after all of this, you still need to run free AVG and free Counterspy virus scanners from cnet.com - these two will find a backdoor agent, spam, and another trojan.

then you need to reboot with f8 again and run System Restore - this will reset the system files but will keep all your data and software in place.

yes! you want to go to a friend's computer, and make record a virus scanner that scans your computer on start up before the windows loads on to a cd-rom. you can also look for a virus scanner launchable from DOS and then load your operating system in DOS. Good luck.

I found no need at all to rename the anti virus program, and it removed the Antivir. Solution Pro virus with no problems at all. Feel free to donate $.025.

why do most peeople reccomeend " reinstall windows" when thay fail to remove spyware/trojans ..etc. in 90% of cases you DON'T have to at all, and most ppl dont have a Windows CD to do so. or have never done a backup of anything on thaire system. And a common missconception of spyware or Rouge-ware that is steals data in some way, when infact it dont, all it does is want you to bye thair fake software shit.
