beautiful blazer, very rare with a diesel, id love to find a 90 with a diesel. and put a 4 speed manual tranny in. take care of this blazer

Brother, I just picked up an 81, it is my dream truck:) It's a gas guzzler and I'm working on putting a diesel in it. Very exciting to find your video here, as I found out today the hummer engine can be dropped right in. And you can get them super cheap rebuilt by the military.

That is a clean, rare K5 you have there. I'm envious. Glad to see someone taking care of one of these trucks instead of running it through a mud hole.

It was very rare to find a diesel in a civilian K5. The military used them in the M1009 military Blazer and in the Hummer. The engine is a Detroit 6.2 liter.
