I remember the "van" that used to drive you from the grandstand to the paddock. The rear door would always remain open and it felt as though you could fall out at any time! The van only went about 20-25 MPH and yet it seemed so much faster with the door ajar. It also gave me a new found respect for what the drivers feel in the sulky. Anyway, that is what stands out in my mind when I think about the old Garden State Park in Cheery Hill, NJ.
LIve right around the corner and really miss the Garden and its regulars.

Lucky the winner's horse didn't trip, the driver would have crossed the finish line first, slingshot style. Any of these guys still in the buisness?
