The vibe in New York was thoro, block parties held so much weight in your mind, witnessing Hip-Hop's conception in the late 70's thru the 80's, during a time when the original people in NY, had much more genuine love in our hearts for one another before that fucking crack hit the hood like Nagusaki, and re-arranged us... 4 ever..

For all the people that was around when this song, and songs like this hit New York, I salute you! It's amazing how many people witnessed the attacks on Hip-Hop and still haven't put two & two together. They eliminated WBLS from playing Hip-Hop in '94. Kiss lost Chuck Chill Out & DJ Red Alert to a punk nigga Flex! Video Music Box got moved to a different channel at some obscure times! Marty Mar & Mr. Maheim, Stretch & Bobbito, 92 KTU was the 1st radio station playing Hip-Hop in New York.
