See how years of exposure to light has faded the finish of a Les Paul Junior. The same thing has happened to older Les Paul Standards - where the red fades away and "cherry" sunburst becomes "ice tea" sunburst.

Guitar collector info by Steve Evans.

The guitars shown in this video are not for sale. They are part of a little guitar museum in a section of Jacksonville Guitar Center in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

  • I was pretty disappointed I missed out on your martin offer on ebay. It sold for 175 or something which is rare to get it that low. do you have any ukuleles?

  • @Brien182 I don't have very many ukes, and none for sale right now.

I had sold four of my vintage instruments on eBay to pay for items I purchased at the Roy Rogers auction (from the closing of the Roy Rogers & Dale Evans Museum). I was high bidder on some of Roy's clothing and a six-shooter - with plans to display them along with my cowboy guitars.

  • i think its a waste, you should at least play them.. not just let them rot

  • @123vaw123 I have recently put fresh strings on my 1944 L-7, 1952 ES-300, 1962 F-55 Martin, 1968 blue Mosrite Dobro and my 1932 Gene Autry guitar, and have played them with my Bluegrass Bombers band. They played great and have not been hurt by hanging on the wall. I leave strings slack, so there is no tension to bow necks or pull bridges. My collection is on public display and has been viewed by thousands of people over the past 35 years.
