By the end of 2009?!? well we are in 2012 and no news until now... But what i notice that didn't snow this year here in Prague - CZ (usually 4-5 cm). Until when should we wait Mr. Executive Director???? Until will be +30 C in January in sated off snow???!!!
Actually carbon nanotubes which is a far less expensive material can also be used as a catalyst in fuel cells. It's still being tested with, but it has been proven to be a lot better than platinum at a lower cost.
Also platinum has to be used as a catalyst in the cell. Platinum is something like 1400$/oz and going up with silver and gold, the main problem because platinum is the only material that will work in this context as the catalyst
Actually the hydrogen is being produced by the fuel cell. Google the hydrolysis of water and you will see what I am talking about. If the energy used to power the cell didn't come from an old fashioned diesel generator; but rather some sort of "green energy" source such as, solar or wind power. Than there would be no oil used to power this vehicle. This is the future!!!
it takes alot of oil to make hydrogen for this kind of use right now is the problem. I read somewhere that u guys get ruffly 2.5 gallons of gas for 1 gallon of hydrogen. Thats not even counting all the money it would cost to put all the fill stations in. And they are rape'n us on gas prices right now, making tons of money, & obviously they dont care about the world. It all comes back to money, the reason why the world and the US is so messed up I believe can all be put on the monetary system

deuterium is the key to the hydrogen age..................
and only 1 country in the world is sitting on top of the largest deposit of it.
if you can guess what country this is - then you are a step ahead of everyone else.

Haha, stumbled across this whilst Byron is visiting our office. Great guy, a lot of enthusiasm for this technology which has huge potential.
