Smart guy only requesting the vintage cards, I do the same as well. Last shipment I got, I got two '58's a 59 and a 60, as well as a stack of '75 topps that I got for my Dad cuz thats his favorite set. I hope topps does this for a while. We have until December to request any other cards we have pending right? Cant wait to start again next year with this.

I have found boxes with no hits, redemptions that arnt met so they send out scrubs, the group breaks are the worst..boxes without their refractors, relic hits, even autos gone...
People were accusing the breakers even of stuff when it was topps junk cards...one person broke a case and there were so many cards missing that he had to do an updated vid on youtube with the cards topps sent him afterwards and the replacements were a real, real bad cards..not damaged but YUCK
@krisbenham The Topps set in 1951 was called 1951 Topps Red Backs and Blue Backs. It's not 1951 Bowman.
If you search 1951 Bowman and 1951 Topps in Google images. You'll see two entirely different cards

@bluejaysfan98 -- I believe that you are correct. I never remember that the red and blue backs are from 1951. The point that I was trying to make was that the 1952 set is the standard to which all cards are compared today, therefore considered to be the first true flagship set of Topps cards. I believe that the red and blue backs were much smaller in size, and the number of cards in the set was a fraction of the what following sets have. Good call.

Topps first year for manufactoring baseball cards is 1951 not 1952

@bluejaysfan98 -- But the set wasn't known as Topps. It was 1951 Bowman. 1952 Topps is the first "Topps" set.

You butchered a lot of those names...

@perfekt5651 -- Yeah, I know, but that is what happens with names. Some of them are not common names, and are not common words that are learned in the English language, so I have no way to know them ahead of time without wasting 3 days of researching the pronunciations, which is surely not worth the time. That is why video is wonderful. You can also see the card in case I didn't say it correctly. I was born in 1979, so most of these players were slightly before my time. LOL!
