"purchasing RECs allows us to theoretically achieve "carbon neutrality"" Theoretically, bumble bees can't fly because there bodies arent built correctly in cordination to there wing size. They still do. Purchasing of RECs no matter how you want to cut it, is over polluters buying the right to over pollute even more from companies that claim to be eco-friendly just so they can make more money from the over-polluters
