  • Interesting dicussion. The National Firearms Museum has videos on both the Mondragon and the Pedersen device at our website nramuseum (dot com) and youtube channel, nfmcurator. -- Jim Supica

  • @4head11 Pedersen shot pistol cartridges, Mondragon was a rifle. Germans had another thing available to counter it on the same field. It was the MP18.

  • @claudiobenassi85 True, I got off topic but it's not like the German did not have anything to counter the Pedersen device, they were buying Mondragón rifles from Mexico, which was a semi auto rifle at which 8 round box was standard but they had 100 round box available to them.

  • @4head11 The Pedersen device is the matter discussed here.

  • Not too much of a scercet weapon when the United States of America is paying money to the German Empire for copying the Mauser rifle. Which is all the springfield is, a copy of the Mauser Rifle.
