Nillumbik Bushfire Mafia

The shire of Nillumbik in Victoria Australia have for decades allowed fuel loads to expand to massive amounts that fueled the Black Saturday bushfire with over 200 people killed, 41 in the Nillumbik shire and from a township of just 100 residents. This council is riddle with Ratbag Greenies who enforce laws of unworkable vegetation control that is nothing short of MYTH-MANAGEMENT and the councilors over past decades are accountable for these fires becoming infernos as you will see in this video

Are you fucking serious?! You think that we should burn the Eltham Copper Butterfly reserve! That is one of the most insanely stupid things I’ve heard. Plus, the people who life amongst the trees do so because they want to. All those places look perfectly normal for this area. If Diamond Creek is so fire prone, the best thing is for Councilor Clarkson to move out of the area, find a little inner city home and live there. Leave the MAJORITY of the Nillumbik residents alone. Strange videos from NRA et al. ALL the other councilors are "Gang Green" except one. maybe you should wake up and look at it from the MAJORITY point of view. You never know you may even gain some intelligence!

I can totally understand your emotion in this video, but you can't just wipeout all the bush within a 5km radius of the town. Pressure the council or bush fire management committee. Do what everyone else does and get A Current Affair or similar to harass them on national TV.

While I agree that the council, in this case, need a shake up, I cannot blame them for everything that did happen and also for some of the footage in this video. I am a NSWRFS firey who went to the Black Sat. fires and I strongly believe that many residents contributed to the destruction of their own properties by neglecting basic fire prevention preparedness around their homes. Some of your video shows State Govt property, not local Govt. Bypass the council and write to the Premier if needed.

Criminal negligence by the councilors.

Do they not listen to the fire authority, be it someone who is part time or full time,they think they know best sat behind a desk.VOTE THEM OUT.

Get the people to sue them on a block basis with a criminal negligence lawyer.

If there is a fire and they lose their house tell the insurance company that it is their own fault allowing a fire hazard to exist of their own making.

This council should be prosecuted for manslaughter and reckless conduct and neglect endangering life and property. The law couldn't put it more plainly. Murder would require intent.
