Here's how to do the barge mission at the beginning of Act 2 of Far Cry 2. The key thing you have to do is take out the rocket launcher guy and the mortar guy RIGHT AWAY. If you manage to do that then you're golden. And don't forget to pick up the Carl G rocket launcher and use that to blow away the enemy swamp boats. The Carl G has a special feature where you can guide the rocket after it's launched by moving the scope around.

dude why did you go alone the river all that way biggiest waste of time, why didnt you just get the bus, drops you off at thw waters edge by a boat get to the objective point in like 1minute.

one time i found one of those rockets and when i was shooting it i was getting angry cuz it was always going the wrong way.....shuld have knew

He said the Carl G spits out fire from the back of the launch tube every time it fires. That causes the grass (which you will always have around you) to burn up. Sooner or later, there'll be an inferno behind you. :)

I name all my explosives dispensers:

Frank - Jeep with mounted grenade launcher

Carl - CARL-G guided rocket launcher (special)

Matt - MGL-140 grenade launcher with scope (primary)

Jeff - M-79 grenade launcher (secondary)
