Well Ron Hubard was in fact a very smart guy. He did succeed with his dream, namely to lure as many people as possible to believe in some nonsense he created.

I love the indiscriminate use of scientific sounding words to add creibility to the quackery that is being offered to people in real need by the COS.
I believe that the lower down $cientologists do actually think they're being helpful- which is also really scarey!
