How to install a line converter, sub and amp w/factory head unit.

This Video will take you through the steps on how to install a line converter which will allow you to install a sub&amp combo using a factory head unit, This car just so happens to be a 2005 Pontiac G6 GT with the Monsoon sound system.

@Superfizzo Yeah subs shouldnt actually be tuned that way, I didnt have an O-Scope at the time but now I do so if your going to tune your amps thats the best way!

how are you going to run speaker wire?

wouldnt the power cable to the amp interfere with the speaker wire?

GUYS THIS IS HOW YOU WIRE A LINE OUT CONVERTER AKA LOC

THERE ARE USALLY 4 WIRES ON THE LOC

YOU ALWAYS WIRE THOSE WIRES TO THE REAR SPEAKERS OF YOUR CAR LEFT REAR NEGATIVE LEFT REAR POSITIVE

RIGHT REAR NRGATIVE RIGHT REAR POSITVE SIMPLE

IF THERE IS A 5TH WIRE ON UR LOC JUST CONNECT IT TO A BARE GROUND THAT IS YOUR GROUND WIRE .. THUMBS UP IF IT WORKS FOR YOU..

i have a Fierce Audio - Adjustable Line Level Controller that im trying to install the instructions suck and website does too it has 6 lines two brown and two pairs of wires for the speakers... i connected the the speaker wires but what are the brown wires for,,, instructions dont say nothing,,,,, i bought it at best buy... i need help

You should have put the LOC in the trunk by the Factory Monsoon amp!!

1. Dismantling that PITA dash is not necessary. 2. You can adjust your LOC with ease down the road. 3. Your RCA cables are much shorter. 4. All power & remote wires you need are accessible at the Monsoon amp.

Power wire & RCAs should also never be run together.
