@markisballer Looking back, was it avoidable? I haven't been in a car crash yet, and I drive a lot for work. Be careful when driving SUVs too, because you have the potential to cause a lot more harm to everyone else.
-
i got in a 55 mph head on in a dodge durango and my leg was pinned, but nothing else happened, im never driving anything smalled than an suv ever again, be safe everyone

@thedippa it's fwd, so how is it the transaxle connects all the way to the rear wheels? or are you talking about whatever is bending right behind the front wheels? cause that's probably the transaxle.
-
3 people were in the crash
-
the "thing" bending under the car is the tranny. It is designed to go under and not into the passenger compartment.
-
would have broken the neck if it were real....
-
XD Look at the bottom of the car, it bends down alot.
-
You can't say its "pretty good" because it doesn't destroy the car and cramp the door to the point of not opening. It's all about safety
ok but whats the speed?

35 or 40 mph. unfortunately not all test facilities use the same speed.

That crash isn't comparable...its head on and not the 40 percent offset.

but if the car can get 5 stars hitting a non-deformable wall then it would do better hitting a soft deformable surface like another car.

because both are still at 40mph

5 for both front and side. I just dont like the fact that the dummy's head was forced upward. the steering wheel should not move up that much... or at all, many other car company's steering wheels dont move up like that.
