David, don't worry so much. Let Jesus call your friend in when the time is right. Be a humble and non judgemental friend. Jesus hung out with some pretty controversial people God judges, we must not judge. Are you sure you are better off than her?

Just take her at face value, give her a laugh and maybe a nice meal, perhaps the cinema. Relive old times. Friendship is for humans and we can work mini miracles with it. God will do the complicated stuff like salvation. Good luck, adieu.
