Let me get this straight, YOU run into a pole because YOU decided to drive drunk and now YOU are suing paramedics who worked to save your life? Only in America. 1. They also make a living by *not killing themselves* drinking & driving. Protecting his prospects wouldn't be a issue otherwise.
2. All paramedics are trained to insert the tube that goes down your throat when you have difficulties breathing. The other way to get air in your lungs which bypasses the vocal chords etc involves thrusting a tube *through your flesh* - not a first recourse.
Jan got lucky- he should be dead. Shameful man.

They were not trained properly and/ or a new better way needs to be formulated that won't ruin the vocal coards of the patient. An actor makes his or her living with their voice!
