July 4, 1986 A tribute to American composers by the Boston Pops with conductor John Williams, honored in this clip (part 2 of 2) are Stephen Foster, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington, and Richard Rodgers. During this live performance at dusk, President Ronald Reagan with first lady Mrs. Nancy Reagan arrive aboard the USS JFK. Also seen within this segment is a live aerial shot of New Yorks Times Square, World Trade Center, and the Statue of Liberty.
