@AF401 The use of the word actually at the beginning of the sentence gives one the impression that I made a statement that was incorrect rather than a question. It's only one word, but it makes a world of difference to the meaning.
Example
Queen Elizabeth is married to prince Philip, which makes him the King.
response: Actually, he is the Prince of Wales, not the King.
