Kill Bill - Kate Bush - The Wedding List

A Kill Bill fan video, set to 'The Wedding List' by Kate Bush, which I always thought oddly complimented the film (if you ignore the fact the Bride didn't kill herself) and wanted to see what it would look like as a video. This was fairly hard to make (mainly because cutting footage from four hours worth of film is a pain in the arse) but hopefully anyone who like either Kill Bill or Kate Bush (or hopefully both) will like it. Contains footage from Volumes 1 and 2, and spoilers.

Thankfully the whole thing's been uploaded this time (in future I'll be avoiding WMV like the plague).

@mtlaube Yeah, I did actually. I uploaded it to YouTube a while back, but unfortunately YouTube has blocked it for USA viewers. Probably some other countries too. I don't know. I've shown the video to my friends and they love it. It's basically Tori Amos' cover or Slayer's "Raining Blood" set to scenes from the movie "Silent Hill". I thought the lyrics in the song fits the character of Alessa well.

This is one of the most brilliant things I've ever seen!.

So often, it is hard to explain to younger people why Kate's music, especially her early stuff, is so important and so breathtaking. By perfectly matching her song to the immaculately timed action scenes in this movie, you have not only created a work of art in its own right, but also a way to bridge a generation gap and bring the music of Kate to a whole new audience.
