After I posted this an astute viewer (JMC425) pointed out to me, that Cameron was stating "Science" while Ray was claiming "All" Professors. After re-watching the videos, it was clear. So I did a little research and came up with these stats. So it appears I am WRONG!
WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! and I am sure it will not be the last time. But I can admit it easy enough. The real facts follow below.
Although one would think these two would use the same stats. I have pasted in below the article I found. And here is the link:
http://organizationsandmarkets.com/20... * 10.0 percent do not believe in God, and an additional 13.4 percent said they do not know whether there is a god and do not believe there is any way to find out, meaning 23.4 percent of the professoriate is atheistic or agnostic. By contrast, 6.9 percent of the general public and 11.2 percent of the college educated are atheist or agnostic. * 36.6 percent of those at elite doctoral schools are atheists or agnostics, compared to 23.5 percent at non-elite doctoral schools, 22.7 percent at schools BA-granting institutions and 15.2 percent at community colleges * Psychology and biology have the highest proportion of atheists and agnostics, 61 percent each, followed by economics, political science, and computer science. By contrast, 63 percent of accounting professors say they have no doubt God exists, followed by professors of elementary education, finance, marketing, art, criminal justice, and nursing. (There was no mention of belief among professors of religion, so no updated evidence on a quip I once heard — Id give the source if I could find it or trust my memory more — that God is dead only at the divinity schools, where he was denied tenure for lack of a publication record). * Attendance at religious services is lowest among professors of mechanical engineering, of whom 71 percent report attending services no more than once or twice yearly. Others reporting infrequent attendance include professors of psychology, communications, marketing, biology, and sociology. Overall, 40 percent of the professoriate reported attending religious services at least once monthly.

Hmmmm....maybe they would argue that the advent of mathematics is plot contrived by "non-believers" to turn the masses away from "God's Revelations"...
I would hope that most professors are smart enough to see through the smoke, mirrors, and fairy tales. But then again... most people are sheep that go through life waiting for someone else to lead them and tell them what is right or wrong.
It is really sad how most people can't see beyond the stories they were raised to believe.
Any intelligent person would have to question the things that are being blindly accepted as truth by most religions.
You know HHO4ALL you bring up a good point. Those raised as Theorists have a difficult time overcoming, what is in effect, brainwashing. If all your friends, and family believe in a thing. It takes a LOT of pondering, and seeking to overcome that conditioning. And it does seem to be those on the upper end of the bell curve that finally manage to break this chain of conditioning. It worries me that any educated professor would believe in these bible stories.
Yes I agree, they are morons; and of their own choosing; which is just sad. The scary thing is, so many Humans in the U.S. believe this stuff. It is a battle for us, a battle for logic, and science. And I think it is important for us to not let them continuing getting the upper hand. And as much as I hated to admit it, they actually managed to get these facts straight. As difficult as that is to believe.
Yeah i know. People must keep exposing these people for who they really are. I was watching a few of this donkeys videos on youtube and the way they present evolution is insulting and the way he tries to scare people into believing in god on the street is criminal.
To hell with hardline christians like him. If there is a god and there is a hell im sure he has a nice hot spot in hell for our mate bananaman.
The only reason they ever had the upper hand at all is because they were only ever shooting for support of their beliefs, and the majority of people in this country are sheep. It's not hard to convince sheep. But it is hard to make them understand anything.
