sirenia est un groupe de gothic metal norvégien qui a été fondé par Morten Veland en 2001, suite à son départ de son ancien groupe Tristania. Après avoir enregistré un premier album en France avec Fabienne Gondamin au chant, le groupe a vu sa chanteuse changer par deux fois. Tout d'abord Henriette Bordvik pour leur second album, et ensuite Monika Pedersen du groupe Sinphonia à partir du 10 avril 2006. Trois albums et un EP sont sortis.

Man this group is AWESOME. Just downright AWESOME. The melody is haunting and dark, the singing is dark, the music is so moving I just can't get enough of it.
I heard that Monika Pederson is not a vocalist of Sirenia anymore. Is that true? If not please, please...PLEASE bring her back.
